B.Sc(Hons), B. A.(Spl.), LL.B - Born on 9th August, 1953. Passed LL.B. Examination from the University of Calcutta and enrolled as an Advocate in the High Court at  Calcutta on 6th June,1978. Practised as an Advocate in the Hon'ble High Court at Calcutta till elevation as Judge. Practised in Civil, Criminal, Constitutional Writ Jurisdiction and conducted cases under Representation of Peoples Act. Elevated to the Bench on 15th September, 2000.
