The Hon'ble Mr. Justice Soumitra Pal, B.A., LL.B. - Born on August 28, 1954. Passed Higher Secondary Examination from South Point High Court, Calcutta, in the year 1971. Passed B.A. Examination from the St. Xavier's College, Calcutta, in the year 1975. Passed LL.B. Examination from the University College of Law, Calcutta, in the year 1980. Enrolled as an Advocate on January 21, 1981. Practised in the Original Side as well as in the Appellate Side of the High Court at Calcutta mainly in Revenue, Service, Education, Electricity, Land, Civil and other matters. Elevated as a permanent Judge of the Hon'ble High Court at Calcutta on January, 19, 2004.
